"The Alander was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. We spent the day hiking and wanted a neat place to spend the night. The room and property had a very cool vibe. I'd definitely return, and recommend this place to others."
"We had an overnight in Great Barrington and this place was just right. Good value, super nice owners, location was excellent and the hotel was clean and updated. It is your classic, one story road side hotel and they have spruced it up nicely. We would definitely stay there again."

5/5 Excellent
Great place for a stopover, thank you!
"We love staying here in transit to and from Maine and New York every summer. Such a pleasure to know that there are great staff and a great pool! (thank you for always keeping it warm and clean) I'm sure the pool will need to be repainted/resurfaced soon (maybe wait until winter!), but it is always a joy after a long stressful drive. The only anxiety producer in town is that doordash is limited and EVERYTHING around shuts down SUPER early. Beware of that and order early, arrive early, or bring your own food. that is a bummer (and totally not the fault of the Holiday Inn!) Thanks for another great stopover. "

"My stay was excellent. My room was on the 2nd floor right side, next to the window...big enough for a family of 3.
This was a solo/business trip for me and the room has an excellent dining room and meeting/living room with a very nice view if you love green. I slept like a baby. Breakfast was fantastic-freakin-tastic--drop a $20 on the table for the fam. Will stay there whenever I go back up th Limerock Park. The drive to and from Limerock is a dream if u know what u doin...and ya gotta go to the pub up the road...the locals are super freaking awesome!!! "
