"The property is well situated about half way if doing the Douro drive loop. Grounds are lovely with rooms overlooking vineyards - very serene and quiet. Lots of onsite parking. Staff encourage picking and eating fruit off the trees - the oranges are excellent! There is a nice pool area. At check in staff member was very helpful suggesting points of interest, restaurants, etc. The room and washroom was very dated with a large veranda. There was mold on the ceiling in the washroom. "Super convenient to the airport. Easy parking (paid). Can even leave car there multiple days or at parking next door. Rooms accessed by code, no keys to fuss with. Shuttle to the airport available for a small fee (if you have a lot of stuff) otherwise it’s a 10 minute easy walk. My only gripe is they could have included a couple more pillows. Otherwise, great easy clean stay."
