"Aside from the need to pay for parking, this was an excellent place to stay. Close to good restaurants. Close to supermarkets (that close too early!). Close to the city. Very clean and comfortable."

"We stayed at the Playford for 2 nights. We had one of the rooms with a mezzanine. A nice room but could have been better laid out. A great shower. A lovely comfortable bed but if you moved out of bed the sensor for the stairs came on and there was a LOT of lighting. Same thing downstairs as soon as you entered the room the sensor went off. I realise it’s for safety on the stairs at night but just too much. "

"1. Parking is a 10 minute walk away. 2. The rooms won’t be cleaned unless you request it. 3. The restaurant is really non existent- menu more bar food. 4. In fact our suite on the 11th floor was nice, but we had to waylay the housekeeping staff to get a clean set of towels, milk and after 4 nights, change the bed. All in all won’t choose Tryp on any of our future trips. Needs improvement. "

Harassed about car park payment when no car park was booked (confirmed no car park was required 48-72 hrs before arrival). And incompetent staff repeatedly requested bond payment after payment was made. Will not stay again."

"We stayed there for four nights. We had the hot breakfast one morning and the continental on an other day. We used the 10$ vouchers that they leave if you don’t get your room serviced that day, which lessened the cost. The breakfast was good, but there are other options in the area as well. We used the laundry, 4$ per was which included powder and no cost to dry. Great amenity. The local area is great, a few dodgy bars heading east on Hindley Street, and a little loud into the early hours on...

"The staff are the biggest assert here, all 4 four front desk people I met were very helpful and friendly. No housekeeping service is different? If you remove that I think a laundry should be provided. I enjoyed my stay and most likely will return."
