"The breakfast was very good and the attendant could not have been more friendly and attentive. After having to leave a different location due to power outage we chose this hotel for the pool for the children. After checking in we were told the pool was out of order. This should have been noted on the site. Overall a good stay, but can’t give 5 stars due to lack of communication."
"Small, family-owned motel. My room was a bit small, but fine for me, and it was very clean and beautifully decorated; the walls in mine were turquoise and reminded me of something we saw in the Keys. Not something you usually see in the chain hotels. Limited amenities, but there was a fridge and microwave in the room, and coffee and snacks in the office, which is situated in a small house on the property. Keyless door entry, you don't even need a card, which I liked. Ample parking on the property. About 1 1/2 miles from downtown, so it's very convenient. I stayed here once many years ago, and was happy to see it was still around and still as I remembered."
"The first room they gave me had an unusual odor to it, probably from someone smoking in there and they tried to airate the room. It was not pleasant. They moved me as soon as I mentioned my disatisfaction with the odor. The other room was better, though still not as fresh as one would hope for. But it was clean and amenable for my one night purposes. The breakfast was also adequate."
"We love staying at Drury!!! It is our favorite hotel chain to stay at. It is always exceptionally clean in the rooms and in the common areas. And all of the staff go out of their way to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. This Drury is no exception. Everything was super clean and the staff was super friendly. The breakfast staff stopped and asked us about our sports game we were going to. The front desk staff told us Good luck at the game! as we went out the door to the game. The bed is very comfortable but very bouncy. We cannit sleep 2 people in the same bed because every tiny movement wakes up the other person. But at the same time the beds are hugely comfortable. I wish they would fix the bounciness. I still give them 10 plus plus plus!!!!"
"The building was undergoing some construction, which we wish we had known about before booking. However, it did not negatively affect our stay. The rooms were nice and clean, and the lobby was very well kept.
The front desk staff was helpful and patient. We had a fairly large group, and at times our kids and group gathered in the lobby and it got a little loud. The staff handled it very professionally and politely asked us to keep the noise down when needed.
Breakfast was decent overall, although I would have liked to see a few more hot, freshly prepared options."
