"What a great find on Expedia! This Best Western checked all the boxes - clean, comfortable, affordable, friendly and location. The front desk Leah and Joe gave us excellent suggestions for dinner and brunch. The reservation included a breakfast onsite. The local restaurants offered a nice variety from Which to choose. "I slept straight through the night, for the first night in a while. The bed was SO perfectly comfy. The room was very clean. We weren’t able to utilize the breakfast because it ended at 9:30- we wished it had been available til 10. We were out super late, so we woke up later than we normally do. The staff was excellent- helpful and attentive. You won’t have a freezer in your mini fridge- just something to note. We’d absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a great experience!"

"The only thing that needs some improvement is their breakfast. If you’re going to offer breakfast have more than just cereal, fruit and muffins. Other than that everything was great. Clean rooms, friendly staff and close to everything!"

"This place is a gem! Our definite go-to place when I come to say in Western NC. Everything you would want in a cabin is here - as long as you don’t mind the outdoor propane fire pit in place of a messy indoor wood burning fireplace. I wish I could tell everybody this place sucks, so I can can scare people away and I will always have a room available 😝"

"We stayed for 3 nights. Room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We only had bagels and fruit for breakfast which both were fresh. Would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"Place is clean and just far enough off the highway to reduce any noise from the highway room was excellant and everything was clean and well pt together the only issue is one of the two elevators is down for repair hopefully will be repaired before we return in a couple of weeks"

"This was a very comfortable place to stay. I liked that it wasn’t too far away from the Casino and all the activities and shops. It felt like I was in another picturesque place where I could relax. Pool and river was great. I will definitely stay there again."
