"My room was very clean and modern. Breakfast was unexpectedly good with a lot of variety to choose from. And we always appreciate the fresh baked cookies upon check in. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay"

"We were greeted at the front desk by a very friendly lady that was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The room was spacious and very clean. It had a kitchenette which came in handy. A full size refrigerator, dishwasher, sink and microwave. The coffee maker was fully stocked. We felt very safe and secure there. The breakfast had a wide choice of items from pancakes and sausage to cereals and fresh fruit. Would definitely recommend this hotel as everything was great!"

Some dustier floors than I would have liked but sometimes this is to be expected in beachy environments. "Found it strange that the room had no closet, wardrobe or any way to hang clothes or place suitcase other than bed or desk. Very disappointed in restaurant service on site. Walked in as single wanting to sit at a bar..:no bartender on duty at any of the bars in huge space. My room was pretty clean except the night table. Big fly buzzing around the room until I finally coaxed it out but for the under $100 night room, what can I expect?"

"Do not stay at this hotel. It is substandard, dark, and ugly. No ceiling light in the bathroom. Phone does not work. AC is loud and inadequate. Bed is uncomfortable. The place is noisy. This was my worst lodging experience ever! I checked out after one night, and they are trying to bill me for 3 additional nights. This place is a rip-off!"

"No beach view from the room i was in, but the walk to the beach took just a couple of minutes."

"The room wreaked of Lysol cleaner for someone with allergies it was not good. Accommodations were so so. Staff not very friendly , view was obstructed by beachfront restaurant . Usually stay at Hilton i hi items thought we would give Marriott a try, very disappointed. "

"The hotel is a little challenging to pull into off of Carolina Beach Road, but the property itself is clean and comfortable. There is a communal microwave that is not listed in the property description, so don't let that discourage you from getting leftovers to heat up."
