"I liked that it was cheap and the staff was very helpful and nice. I did not like that my sink would not drain and my bathroom fan did not work. My bathroom also constantly put out heat and humidity so the ac never stopped running and needed to run to even keep it tolerable."

Rooms were clean except when we moved the couch for the pull out bed, we found soy sauce and a snap picture.....lol Oh and when we started to check out, I ran the dishwasher and it leaked under the sink. I did tell the front desk employee upon checkout."

"Let’s start with the positives! The rooms are adorable like the pictures show! They feel cleaner than a hotel and the beds and bedding were very comfortable!!! Another huge positive was the quietness. I was in my room frequently and never felt annoyed by closing doors or people being loud! So, in those ways The Herbie was a great choice!!!! Things to consider…1. There is no one that works there. If you have a problem or a question, it is hard to solve quickly. 2. It is in a warehouse...

"The place was fairly clean and not too outdated. Very simple breakfast options. But if you're just needing a uncomfortable bed with small pillows for a night and not expecting much, then it works."

"Easy parking. Quiet street. Big room with a very bad mattressed sofa bed. It even had a washer and dryer in the room which would have been Amazing if we had needed to do any laundry."

"At check-in and checkout the staff was great. Our room was dirty. There was trash under the bed and in the desk drawer. The microwave was filthy. There were handprints on the mirrors, windows, and walls. I don’t know what was all over the tv screen and fridge but the place clearly wasn’t cleaned. There was toothpaste on the bathroom counter and the shower wasn’t clean. I had to ask the assistant manager (who wasn’t great at all!) at 11:30pm for a bottle of cleaner and a rag. "I picked this for the discount and the picture of the rooms but my room smelled musty and of a mildew floor. The refrigerator and microwave were old and dirty compared to my other travelers room. It didn’t feel that safe although there were no issues. I would have soent more to stay somewhere better"

"Wasn’t super clear where to go when we arrived as another hotel was recently burned (or so it looked) and taped off areas. Fire alarm went off as we were going to bed, and when we went out to check it was waved off as nothing by the employee who was on his phone. Understanding false alarms happen, it wasn’t the best night sleep with the circumstances. Not to mention loud on the first floor."
