"The STG advertises as being on Oxford Street. Yes, it is near Oxford Street - about 1 block away. But it is a less desireable portion of Oxford Street. Not much of interest in the area but a few local restaurants, an M&S Food Store, Boots, etc. We had to upgrade, for a fee, to get A/C and a refrigerator, and slightly smaller room. The hotel itself is like a maze with closed fire doors everywhere. Signage was not always that helpful. There were 4 small elevators for a 700+, 11 story hotel,...

"Staff were outstanding especially Luis and Barbara. So friendly and kind which made our stay a good one. Hotel is truly beautiful with a great restaurant and bar. Unfortunately the gym was closed for refurb while we were staying there. Also must add how central this hotel is in London and right next to Warren Street station so it was so easy to get around London. Housekeeping supervisor forgot her name was also so wonderful and accommodating. If we had any issues she was on it fixing the...

"The room a very clean, they are cleaned daily. We stayed 7nights and they always looked like the first day. The staff was great and helpful. They have amenities down stairs in the lobby. Our rooms as cold or hot as we wanted. I had peaceful night. Great location. No laundry available but there was a laundromat two blocks away. Will definitely come back to this hotel."
