The tv was on and someone was talking loudly on their phone - I needed an early night as I wasn’t feeling well. That didn’t happen. As a woman travelling alone I was not comfortable with a ground floor room close to the entrance - I would have liked to open the window, but did not feel secure enough. "Staff were very courteous and accommodating, and gave helpful suggestions about the local area. Breakfast was made to order at our chosen time. Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small. There were no shelves or anywhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. "

"The room was clean. The bathroom a little inconvenient (especially the shower, which is hard to use without spraying everywhere). The staff are very pleasant. The breakfast is not great, especially if you choose the non full english breakfast options."
