"It was a great stay! We checked in around 10 and Erica was amazing. She went above and beyond to help us and gave us great service. She is a gem. The hotel was very clean and the room was in great condition "

"Very walkable spot for downtown and the harbor area. Todd was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was accommodated and everything was running smoothly! He is outstanding and could not be more helpful and welcoming!
Made to order breakfast was delicious. Happy hour drinks and snacks were great.
Only downside was our bathroom/shower situation was very tiny and tight and lots of street noise at night. However, if we could get a different room we would absolutely stay here...

"The place is really fun to stay at. The rooms aren’t just clean they are noticeably clean. It’s the first thing to notice and feel. Perfect view of the river, and friendly staff. The furniture is older compared to modern hotels, but it’s all great condition. "

The view of the lake was amazing the swimming area was closed off the entire time we were there unfortunately. The only thing that is weird is the parking lot is very small and if alot of cars are there you may get stuck depending on where you park "
"We really enjoyed the large comfortable spa room. The hospitality coming and going was spot on! Walking distance to everything to do in South Haven, including the beaches! The housemade breakfast was so relaxing and tasty. We will definitely look to stay there again when we return. "
"Historical, our first BnB. Easy to find. Easy to park. Shopping and food and lake nearby. We went kayaking nearby. Ate and fantastic places. Easy to maneuver. Love the big tub and fireplace. Overall nice area and stay. "
"Perfect hotel for me, my partner, and dog! Other hotels and airbnbs in the area were extra expensive and/or not pet-friendly due to LDW, and we didn’t want to spend $1,000+ for just a 3-night stay.
If you’re looking for a hotel that’s affordable, perfectly located, has a lot of outdoor activities, very dog friendly, and a midwest/vintage charm, Sun & Sand is a great choice. While the rooms are a bit outdated, they were clean and well-kept. The bathroom was especially clean.

The picnic basket breakfast was delivered at 9 am and was delicious. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room. The flowers around the whole bed and breakfast were beautiful "
"This is definitely a work in progress. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel was quiet for the most part and the staff was very friendly. It's clear a family has taken on the job of restoring this property to a new, beautiful standard. I was pleased with the location, the price and our room. The elevator is a little scary at the moment, but I'm sure it will be fixed. I look forward to seeing it fully restored."
