"The room was decent, it was clean but the sink was clogged and did not drain well. The upstairs room was so loud and were pacing all night, the sound was loud- felt like they were going to land on top of us while we slept. The location of our room was next to the smoking area in the parking lot and it was horrible. I cannot imagine the main building was used so it was upsetting to have to deal with it. You had to slam the door shut in order for it to latch, otherwise you could just push it open.

"Friendly staff. Clean room. Quiet. Conveniently located just blocks from downtown Nevada city. We were able to park our car and walk to shops restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay here again!"
"Very nice property and amazing rooms. Lots of variations to accomodate different size families. Good rates with an unbeatable location close to shops and restaurants. Staff was wonderful!"
"The stairs down were a little difficult but worth it totally. The cafe below took care of all of our food needs for the two days...they were great.
The rooms were clean and comfortable...I would definitely stay there again!"
"Staying at the Pines Inn, made my visit to GV/NC so lovely and comfortable. I loved the art and design touches in the cottage, soft outdoor music in the garden ~
Welcoming hospitality and a sense of privacy.

"The room was somewhat clean, but there were a pair of mattresses right in front of the room, dirty and old with stains--I took pics---I had no choice but to check out within less than two hours and it was becuase I was no the phone with Expedia trying to book something else. I was charged for one night, even though the pics on the website look nothing like this old, falling-apart place. But never again. Driving out of the parking lot, I noticed there was nobody else. That was the worse experience and on top of all I rated another beautiful hotel this rating out of frustration and confusion. I travel for work. Stay away from this place; they still get some money from you. Crazy!!!"
