"Lovely staff in an old beautiful building. The breakfast was great and the room was cosy and clean but a little on the colder side. Unfortunately we were directly above the function room which had a party on the Saturday day. The music was so loud that the furniture was vibrating. I should have requested a quiet room upon booking. I wouldn't let it put me off booking again"

"The location of the hotel is excellent as it's close to the beach, but away from the sea front. Just a 10 minute walk away. The staff were really friendly and were helpful. The rooms were large but the decor is a little dated and there were a lot of stairs to the top floor. That said, even though on the main road, there was little road noise in the room we were in and got a good night's sleep. Didn't stop for breakfast as we were meeting up with family.
