"Sheets had hair and sand all in them. Stains. I don’t believe they were new sheets as they had no rooms at 4:30 for check in. Floor wasn’t clean. Sand all over the counters. Trash under the bed. When I asked staff I was given two sets of sheets to change myself. I’ve contacted the hotel and Expedia did too and no response."

"The pictures of the room online look nothing like reality. The kitchen section was dirty and falling apart. No dish soap or sponge is provided when you go to the front desk they say to go to the dollar store and give you packs of powder to use the dishwasher. When I first walked in to the room I immediately noticed a weird smell and the floor was sticky. The staff were okay but not very helpful or informative."

"My husband and I enjoyed a beautifully quiet weekend at this charming hotel. It truly feels like stepping back in time in the best possible way. The atmosphere is incredibly quaint, warm, and welcoming—it feels like coming home, just to a much simpler era. 😊

"The property was beautiful, inviting, clean and the food in the Resort was really good. The staff were all friendly and helpful. My only 2 complaints were no microwaves in the rooms and the food at the Salty Rose was subpar for the prices. The drinks were good at The Salty Rose."
