"During my road-trip planning, I found the Old Carrabelle Hotel and was immediately intrigued by its old nostalgic charm. When I arrived, the hotel was easy to find and parking was right in front. "First of all, the room was not cleaned after the previous guest, which is evident by the pubic hairs on the walls of the shower. Mold on the ceiling, smoke detector missing, ice machine broken the entire time so we had to drive and go buy some. Called and was told they would have someone check it out but never did. We booked this particular place because it had a pool also. Well, the code to open the gate to get to the pool wouldn't work. Reached out multiple times and was told that was the...

"Nice property a good distance from the main thoroughfare allowing for a quiet comfortable stay. Two stories with elevator, pool and exercise room. The receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with plenty of seating and table surfaces and with subtle lighting. Our window was fitted with plantation blinds and overlooked the pool. The bed was very comfortable."
