"This place was always is an absolute gem. I have stayed here many times all the way back to when I was a child. I now bring my wife here when we want to escape to a quiet place. Even in the winter there is plenty to do and it is 10 minutes from downtown Huntsville and all the shopping. It has everything one needs in terms of nearby shopping, comfort, excellent service and the overall cottage feel. I will always return when I can. This is such an enjoyable place to spend your time off."

"Property is pet friendly, staff were great they respond in a timely manner, we were so anxious for our cabin because of the previous reviews that it was smelly, but when we got there it was perfect, no smells at all. Great views of the lake in front, moorehaven cabin has sunroom with screen perfect for summer safe from mosqhito bites! Highly recommended."

"Stayed 8 nights at Glenview Cottages in early November. There were a lot more guest this time around vs the last time I was there. Only a 10 minute drive to get into SSM for me. Liked the kitchen and the ability to go for a walk around the property. Bed was comfortable and the road noise was minimal at night.Would stay again. "

"Great area to take the kids. There was a lot of Waters sports that the kids used such as kayaks. Water, trampolines, etc.. There is a volleyball net, but you would need to bring your own Volleyball. Sand on the beach is super nice right for kids building Sandcastles"
