"The accommodation is very clean, free hot drinks while we stayed and staff very nice, it could do with a lick of paint in certain areas. The location is amazing for walking to both Grasmere and Ambleside. We went to the local pub to watch the badgers. The grounds of Rydal Hall are beautiful and include the grot and a waterfall, Would stay again."

"Wir waren auf der Durchreise und kamen sehr spät an. Uns wurde vorab ein Code geschickt, mit dem wir ins Zimmer gelangen konnten. Das war zunächst nicht ganz einfach, aber der Gastgeber war sofort zur Stelle und hat uns geholfen. Auch die anderen Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war super und wird in einem kleineren Raum angeboten, was wir persönlich als sehr angenehm empfunden haben. Die Lage ist fantastisch, mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf die Berge und...

"The host Noreen, greeted us at the front door and showed us to our room on the first floor. The interior was beautiful and decorated very nicely. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our room was small but adequate. The breakfast provided the next morning was wonderful. We had a full Irish Breakfast. Cereal, yogurt, juice, home made bread & jams were available as well. The site had plenty of parking available for guests on site. I highly recommend the Perrymount B&B."

Reviews often say this about hotels and we were just expecting the usual professional staff. However it must be said the staff were superb, stood out and had a major positive impact on our stay making it so enjoyable. The evening dinner very good. The breakfasts excellent. Definitely a place to stay."
