"Nice old place in decent shape. The breakfasts were wonderful. Not having someone there, other than the lady who came in to cook and serve breakfast, was somewhat of a negative, as we would have liked to ask questions, especially in the evenings, about places to eat and things to do. Also, a bathtub/shower, with no really hard-mounted grab bars, is not really good for seniors"

"The breakfast was absolutley delicious and beautifully prepared! We had bloody Mary's and Mimos too...all included in our stay. We stayed in the red and white gingham cottage which we loved because it stood seperate on it's own. The window unit AC kept the room very comfortable. It had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The cottage was small but very comfortable, except for Bathroom standup shower was a little too small for my 6'6 husband...but all good. We couldn't have had a better...

"I was in Vicksburg for a week, on business. The year before, I stayed in a hotel on the other side of town. This time, I wanted to be downtown, making the flavor of the town more accessible. I was not disappointed. This place is utterly charming, a well-preserved taste of the 1800s, in which the house was built. It was like stepping back in time, with all of the modern amenities that you would want in any overnight stay. The floors were shiny and clean. The breakfast was far better than...
