"Sadly this property needs huge investment. The whole place is really tired. There was no on there to welcome us and they hadn’t sent us the door code so I had to phone twice before someone would pick up and then had to wait for the owner to arrive to let us in, not ideal after a long journey. We had a garden room - which had thread bare carpets with stains on, the most uncomfortable bed imaginable and it just felt dirty. I thought from the pictures this place looked ok, but I was very wrong...

"We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Lorne House. Our room was luxurious, and the bedding was unbelievably comfortable. The thoughtful touches included an assortment of teas and coffees (including decaf), regular and oat milk, plus biscuits right in our room, made it feel extra special.
The full breakfast is absolutely incredible, and able to skip lunch, only needed dinner each day. The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable, with a lovely living room/common area and an inviting outdoor...

"Probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Super clean room and en suite. Breakfast was self serve continental and catered for a variety of dietary requirements. The staff were really friendly. A lovely pub in a quiet area, 15 mins on the bus into Bath centre. Free parking on site. I'd definitely stay there again. "
