The hotel was everything we had hoped for. Stunning beach views and helpful staff.we reserved a sea view room and it was well worth it! Walkable to souvenir stores and if you would like a night out of the hotel it is safe.

Fabulous beaches/friendly people. Our disappointment was arriving to Zanzibar Star Resort with was no room booked! The manager Kelvin said iExpedia did not send the booking through until the arrival date even though we had booked 10 TEN months ago!
