"I enjoyed my stay at the Laguna Hills Lodge. I did not take advantage of the pool, the breakfast or other amenities as I was visiting family in town and was away from the hotel for most of the time. The room was clean and updated with some modern touches, while the building did show its age with some architectural details. My small 2nd floor patio overlooked the beautiful garden courtyard, which is a great touch. The hotel and other guests were quiet and I could barely hear the nearby freeway....

"Just book this place, don’t look anywhere else. The price may be a bit higher than other hotels around but it is well worth it. Very clean, rooms are upgraded and also very clean. The free dinner and breakfast are amazing, great food, so many different options. "The engineering staff set the thermostat temperature to whatever they want. The thermostat in the room is operated by an occupancy sensor which does not detect any movement over night, resulting in resetting the temperature to whatever the engineering team set to! This was intended to save energy at the expense of the customer's convenience!! I had to wake up twice at night to make sure the sensor detected me and that my temperature setting is reactivated."
