"The Oceanfront Jr Suite was wonderful and better than expected! Both the bed and pullout sofa bed were very comfortable. The staff was the friendliest of all the places we visited while on the island. We found that the drinks at the pool bar were pretty high priced and low on the “spirits” lol but that’s my only quirk about the hotel. It’s perfectly located, and everything is within walking distance in either direction. I will stay here again when I return!"

"Our stay in the Penthouse Ocean View Suite at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel was absolutely perfect. The location is excellent—tucked away at the quieter end of Waikiki but just steps from the beach. The views of Diamond Head from the room are simply stunning and unmatched by any other property! The suite itself was incredibly spacious, spotless, and comfortable. "We stayed at this hotel for 8 nights before the inter island cruise and 4 nights after. The staff were very helpful. On the last day of our stay, as our flight was at 10 pm, we got a late check out at 7 pm at a very reasonable rate. The location is excellent with the International Market Place and many restaurants and cafes close by. As an Expedia VIP member we also got a $50 voucher for each stay which can be used in the two restaurants next door - Tanaka of Tokyo and Appetito. We tried both...

"This a really nice small hotel with a boutique feel and a cool reception area, situated on the canal and minutes away from the best shopping and eating experiences in Waikiki. I much prefer it over the craziness (and eye-watering expense) of the larger resorts in the area. The staff are excellent and rooms are very comfortable, although some upgrading/redecorating will be necessary soon. It's worth it to book a mountain view room or a suite for views from the lanai of the Ala Wai canal and...
