"About the closest thing to the airport you can sleep at. The walk there from the terminal is doable for younger parties, but still a ways off through sketchy underpasses. Shuttle in the morning to the Airport is very real, very clutch, and they start at 4:00am and go every hour. It's an airport hotel, not a resort - tuck into your dozen-story person-shelf and get some rest. Find someplace else if you're planning on staying on the island."

"Went on our honeymoon in July 2026, before the 4th. Tucked away from most major traffic, not too far from Ala Moana Mall or the beach. Bus stop for the W-line to airport directly outside was very convenient - skip the car rental and rely on the bus if you can spare the time. "It was an amazing experience, for staying at the Holiday Inn for the first time in Hawaii, it was a blast. Room was nice and cool, including free great delicious breakfast!! And close to stores and 6 min walk from the Beaches!!! Stag was great and very efficient to getting your room and they also hold my luggage while I waited to check-in time."

"Our biggest complaint was the parking. When we arrived, the hotel parking was full, so we had to park at a different hotel on our first day. The parking fee is also quite expensive at $50 per night. That said, the hotel is in a fantastic location, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Despite the parking inconvenience, we had a great stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit."

"We really enjoyed staying here. The Ramen place in the building is fabulous- we ate here a lot. The rooms are nice and the shops, aesthetically pleasing. Check in was good. The pool is not what is expected, there are no chairs available and there were so many kids running around, I witnessed a few throwing things at birds, the hot tub had over 12 kids at one time in it, so no room for everyone. "I always stay at Ala Moana hotel. Because l like everything about the hotel. The service, staff, housekeeping. Everything is top tier quality. I would recommend anyone who is planning to go to Hawaii, should stay at Ala Moana hotel not becyi say so but because everything is here. It’s centralized. You’ve got ur hotel, then there’s the beach and u have the Ala Moana Shopping Center. Also there’s restaurants in the vicinity. So to sum it up it’s a perfect location."
