"Rooms are a bit older but was clean and had everything we needed. I would go back and recommend to others!"

"Rooms are really small, TV looked to be at least 20 years old. Water is lukewarm at best. AC is a portable window unit that runs 24/7 to maintain 70 degrees and it is very loud. Back up alarms on trucks from the nearby industrial area start at 4am every morning. Free parking is the one nice perk but other than that I would not recommend."

"I stayed in an Oceanfront room and was disappointed by the room condition. The curtains had visible stains, the walls showed damage and wear, and the overall room felt poorly maintained. "Hotel is under construction at this time. We were “upgraded” to a king bed and pull out couch. That didn’t help I have 2 teenagers so we had a trundle bed, that left no room to walk!"

"All rooms had an ocean view. Very spacious and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were close to the rest of our party who had booked separately. Even though it was busy the design of the towers made it not feel crowded at all. The pools were perfect with amazing sunsets! We were within a very short walk you our outstanding back to back Pink Sails turtle snorkeling and then coming off one of their boats to hop on another one to go on a whale watching tour. "The property is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are very large and comfortable. There are many shops and restaurants on site. You'd never have to leave if you don't want to. We loved our stay!"

"This is an older hotel which is why we booked it. Been locally owned since the 1950’s. But we loved everything about it. From the local Hawaiian atmosphere to the old dishes used in our kitchenette to the local Hawaiian music played in the lobby on Wednesday nights. It was perfect. Noisy because the street in front is so busy and the doors and windows are older so they don’t keep out much of the noise. I turned on white noise on my phone and that helped but I would recommend earplugs."

"We love staying at the queen kapolani, they staff is super nice and I love the location and views of diamond head. I love the coffee shop in the lobby and love the whole vibe. I stay here whenever I can."

"The hotel is very conveniently located. Ice cold water available for bottle refills and coffee in the morning. The staff checked in to see if I needed anything if I declined housekeeping services and were overall friendly and helpful. For the money, it’s a good deal."
