"We booked a package through Expedia and got an ocean view suite room in the Diamond Head tower. We weren’t pleased with our room. When you walked in, it was the bedroom separated from the balcony/view. It was an absolute dungeon of a room. No windows, no natural light. The door was 2 feet from the bed. "Overall a nice experience but be careful of Oceanview and Oceanfront. Oceanview is the lower tier and will yield you a view of the back of the harbor (dirty) and parking lot. The ocean sits on the left but you have to be at the rightmost corner of your window."

"I didn't get to see much of the spa because you needed to book a facial or massage to use it. I had a pedicure but that didn't count for some reason. Would be nice if you could just pay a small fee if all you wanted to do was get access to the spa area for the day. And maybe put a few indoor plants in there; because there's no windows so it feels a little claustrophobic."

"This property was wonderful. It was in a perfect location. You could walk to just about anything you could want. The beach was right across the street. Your resort fee allowed for you to take beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards for the beach each day. Additionally, there were fun classes and craft making you could take part in. "The staff in checking was not welcoming at all. Very dismissive which I thought was very odd for a hotel that was claiming to be luxury. Not a curated experience at all. Rooms very fine but the bathroom was very dated for that price point. Door hinges were rusting and there were water stains on the light fixtures. Was expecting a much higher end experience at that price point. Won’t be coming back"
