"First there was no hot water like warm showers at best. Room wasn’t cleaned properly, still garbage, crumbs on carpet. Had to ask several times over two days to get a fourth bath towel. Maid service only comes every two days. Hotel in a good under from the French quarter. Your better finding a hotel closer and paying the parking fees."

"No coffee available for the early risers from the east coast, short staffing, mediocre attitudes. It is what it is. Elevator floors always sticky and dirty, just an obvious lack of effort to be excellent. So, i guess all normal if you want a normal mediocre lodging, knock yourself out."

"The experience started great with an early check in. My travel partner and I dropped our things off and went to run errands. When we returned to our room, the door was open, all the sheets stripped and our items no where to be seen. We rushed to the front where they discovered they had mistook us for another guest that was not allowed to be there and they shared they thought our room was theirs and had to remove their things. They gave us our things back and apologized, but it took over 3 hours...

"Convenient location to conference center and Arts District. Rooms were modern, clean, and well appointed. The lobby in courtyard were comfortable and inviting. On the downside, some front desk staff members were friendly and helpful while others were brusque. I was concerned about a problem with my reservation and called multiple times to no avail. They never answered the phone. I called Hilton corporate as well as Expedia and neither of their customer service specialist. Could get in touch...

"Started with the ease of booking , to the contact to confirm stay, to the most welcoming smiles as soon as you enter. French Market Inn was clean, comfortable, and located perfectly. Loved the ambiance and old world charm. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly"

Had very expensive FedEx package sent to me there on weekend and staff received and put in their storage without contacting me or delivering to room even though room # was on it. That caused me real problems having to return back to hotel to get it. There was no apology, no sense of care about the situation, basically blaming me for the problem saying I should have been checking in with them to see if a package arrived. It would have been very easy...

"Overall the location was exactly what we needed for our trip, the room was spacious for me and my friends. The staff needs to work on better cleaning there some rust areas in the bathroom especially in shower it kept leaving a black residue on our towels when we hung it up on the shower door"

"Magnificent apartment in an historic building, I loved it. The communication was brilliant and the host bent over backwards to accommodate me. I had a few issues with some mice in the apartment however they moved me to a new one while they sorted out the situation and were extremely accommodating. I would thoroughly recommend."
