However, we came at a time where the staff was on spring break so we had to go to another local hotel nearby for any sort of help/check in or out we needed. "This was the highlight of our trip! The hotel is beautiful and the staff are amazing! From the minute we arrived we were welcomed, we had the best meal, the fondue was delicious. The chef our waiter and everyone made sure we were taken care of! If you want a spectacular stay then stay at this wonderful hotel!"

"So amazing! This is an authentic chalet tucked in the mountains. It’s a quick drive to Lauterbrunnen or there’s a free bus. I love the little grocery market that’s across the street. Just a stone throw away. This market has famous croissants that are a regional favorite.. but don’t eat too many because the breakfast at this hotel is great. The staff was very polite. The only thing I would encourage them to do is provide coffee in the rooms. They do have teabags in the hallway and water kettles...

"No AIR CONDITIONER IN THE ROOM. A TABLE FAN IS PROVIDED. VERY GOOD BUT DATED PROPERTY. TV IS 32 INCH. OUR ROOM HAD A OKD FASHIONED HUGH TUB. A SURE RECIPE FOR HIP REPLACEMENT. OTHERWISE A VERY GOOD PROPERTY."

"Perfect location and clean/roomy hotel with free 24hr still/gas water, coffee, and tiny croissants(around noon). There were steam/normal sauna and big pool opening from 10am-8pm. Only cons were that no fridge and air cooler but I just open window and kept grocery in the balcony(be careful of greedy crows) in early May. The restaurant opens until late and it was helpful. Outside was loud at night when somebody were drinking at bar outside."

"We spent 3 nights here and absolutely loved our balcony room with a view of the lake. Couldn't stop taking pics from it. Grounds are excellent and well maintained. Breakfast was good, but the same each day. Two things we'd suggest though, pillows were feathered and had no substance (had to ask for additional) and no lotion in the bathroom. These are minor things compared to how much we loved the setting. Would highly recommend."
