"Overall the resort and amenities are top notch. My 3 rating is due to the lack of housekeeping services. We stayed for 5 nights and never had any housekeeping. I learned you you need request services, which I did on our 3rd day. When we returned to the room later that day we found a complete set of towels on the counter, but garbage wasn't taken, the bed wasn't made, the coffee bar wasn't refreshed, the dirty towels weren't taken, and the lock was flipped to keep our door open. I called and was told I would get full services the next day; when we left for the day we saw the housekeeping cart in our hallway, and I stopped at the front desk to verify we were on the list. When we returned that afternoon, no services had been done. That evening we stopped at the front desk again. I explained my situation and the staff member called a manager. Management explained they don't have enough housekeeping staff to service guestrooms and clean the rooms that check out each day. We agreed there was clearly a lack of communication between what our expectations were and what the hotel was able to provide. They offered to provide full service the next day, but understanding their situation we declined since we would be leaving the following day.
If this had been communicated to us when checking in, we would have had appropriate expectations and avoided the frustration.
We will definitely return to Biloxi and will likely stay at Hard Rock - excellent location and amenities!"
