"Very nice place, has everything you need. Shower head needed maintenance. Tried to reach the owners through the expedia platform but they didn't answer. Probably whatsapp was the better way to reach them but I couldnt use it. Very minor issues overall. Thanks!"

"Très bel endroit propre avec tout le nécessaire (cuisine, vaisselle, douche, séchoir à cheveux, machine à laver) et plus (tables sur la terrasse dehors, grande cours, ballons de basket et foot)! La dame et son fils sont très sympathiques. La seule chose à faire attention si vous n’avez pas d’auto c’est qu’il n’y a qu’un seul bus qui passe à Serra Del’Rei et il ne passe pas souvent donc il faut bien planifier."

"This cozy guesthouse inside the old walls of medieval Obidos was a nice place to stay. It’s not fancy and has no on-site staff but it’s very clean, well maintained and in a great location. We had some trouble finding it but that was completely my fault & when we called, the staff member could not have been nicer and met us in person to get us straightened out! Our room was quiet, but like many old buildings in Europe, there was no elevator or a/c. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay."

"The location is great - walking distance to surf and restaurants, the space in the room we stayed in was good and had a private balcony and the common areas were generally clean. A couple of strange things - for somewhere that is a "shared house"/hostel type the people who work/"hosts" were very unfriendly, there were 2 females who wouldn't even acknowledge us during our stay (walking into the kitchen and wouldn't even make eye contact or make conversation - mind you I commented on their food...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Marmòris Palace. The property is beautiful, the grounds are peaceful, and it really lets you experience the castle and palace atmosphere that makes Sintra so special. It feels like you’re staying in a historic estate rather than a typical hotel. If you’re expecting a true luxury hotel, this probably isn’t it. The rooms and amenities are comfortable, but the experience is more about the charm, history, and setting than five-star luxury. The staff was wonderful,...

"We wish we could have stayed longer! The property is amazing and the rooms are a very nice combination of old school style mixed with modern new features (bathroom). We really enjoyed sitting outside in the patio area for both early evening drinks and also our breakfast coffees and food"
