"Rating is very misleading, this is not a “very good” hotel. Although the hotel advertises a no-smoking policy, the moment we walked into the room it smelled strongly of weed and smoke. The condition of the room was very concerning, there were burn marks on the bed sheets and curtains, and visible stains throughout. There was also an unknown brown substance on the wall, which was unsettling. Several things were broken or not functional. The refrigerator door handle was damaged, and the bathroom door would not close or lock, which made the stay feel uncomfortable and inconvenient. Overall, the room appeared unclean despite what seemed like an attempt to tidy it up. We did not feel comfortable staying and chose to leave immediately, losing money in the process. The only positive part of the experience was the front desk staff member, who was kind and provided good customer service. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again and would not recommend this property."

"Biggest problems, the bed was not comfy and they probably need to replace some mattresses. The fold out couch bed was a joke. It looks like the mattress is from the 80s. Also, they do not have smart tvs so you can't stream anything and their channels are very limited. Who doesn't have smart tvs??? So, I guess the rooms are just outdated. It was clean though and the bar area was hopping. "

"Rooms were very clean, excellent breakfast with hot fresh items some being made to order, nice outdoor seating area, and all of the staff was so friendly and helpful with anything you needed. We would definitely stay here again."

"Pool was kind of small. I had the presidential suite. It could have been more, uh…I guess, presidential. It was a basic room with more space. Same bed, same bathroom, same everything. For the price I paid, a bigger TV, soft closing toilet lids, better shower head instead of a basic one. Just minor upgrades would be a vast improvement. The presidential suite should have better amenities than a basic room. Especially for the price. I enjoyed the hotel, everything was nice and clean. The staff was polite. I just wouldn’t get the “presidential suite” ever again. Could have used the money I spent on two days to book a week vacation in a normal room. "

"Hotel and room was clean. Hotel very worn out - frayed carpet, worn lamp shades, cracks in shower wall, stained tub. Good hair dryer, good AC. Listing inaccurate - listed as 2 Queen beds. Actually 2 Full beds."

"Manager worked very hard to find a room where I could stay all 3 nights without moving, since I had a split reservation of 1 night, followed by 2 additional nights. Found a room on the first floor which helped me walked the fewest number of steps with a very sore foot."

"We did not get the rooms we booked, we had 7 people total and not enough beds, when I asked for a cot we were told there were none. There was no bedding for the pullout couches, when I asked I was given some odd and end sheets no pillows or blankets. One room had an overpowering smell of urine. It stormed and one room has a huge leak around the window and water poured in and onto the window unit causing it to quit working until it dried out. The wallpaper around a window in the hall was hanging off in sheets with mold visible. The bathroom in one room has a rusted ceiling and the hinges and catches on the door were so rusted it wouldn’t close. The lobby is clean and updated but the rooms and other facilities are terrible. Our room keys would only work for a few hours or so and quit. We had to get multiple keys over the 2 days. The exterior door on the floor level at the back wouldn’t close so anyone walking by could gain entry to the hotel without having to pass staff. The mattress on the pullout was stained and had hardly any springs. Overall, the staff were pleasant and the main lobby nice but we will never book a La Quinta again. "
