LivINN Hotel Cincinnati / Sharonville Convention Center
2/10 Terrible
"Booked two nights from Expedia. On the first night, I was badly bitten by a bed bug. Captured it alive and showed it to the front desk, then switched me to a new room. However, it is too late, and I cannot sleep anymore cause it always feels like there are more bed bugs. Had to cancel the second night and have been waiting for the hotel to deal with it. However, no one has ever contacted me, nor has there been any update on the refund for more than a week."
"No hand soap in room upon arrival. Bathroom shower could’ve been cleaned better. The line for check in was almost out the door. We stood in line for close to 20 min as only 1 staff member was checking guests in. She was nice but why aren’t there more people working, especially at check in time?
The coffee bar in the morning was sooo slow/long. Probably 15 people deep all morning. That poor barista was so overwhelmed. Taking orders/register & making all the drinks. 2 people should’ve been back there at LEAST! I will say she kept such a great attitude & was so kind & quick despite being slammed constantly. Some customers were grumpy with her because of the wait but she handled it with so much grace. I wish I got her name, but she deserves a raise.
The basketball was cool. Definitely dog pee stains in some areas of hotel. It wasn’t really worth the price/hype but the staff was nice."
"Bright, clean and spacious room. The HVAC systems worked well and provided a comfortable environment. Shower was strong and hot - very nice!. Staff was accommodating and very friendly. The breakfast offered was a bonus! Enjoyed my stay. Great job to everyone! Thank you!"

"The breakfast was terrible. It tasted like waffles were frozen from a box, artificial eggs, oatmeal had to be made from instant packets and you added the hot water. The bacon was swimming in grease that hadn’t been drained at all. They put slices of bread in the bottom of the serving pan they said to soak up the grease but it didn’t. It was still swimming. The bacon wasn’t cooked all the way it was nauseating. The bowl of fruit was terrible couldn’t taste any of the other fruit it all tasted like melons selection of juice was only orange juice or apple, No cranberry. We stayed 4 days , 3 nights. The bathroom wash products were very low in the dispenser, The whole time we stayed they never took a vacuum to it. We knew it wasn’t vaccines because we could feel the crumbs and stuff on our feet as we walked. They made the beds and that was all. We usually love staying at the Hyatt Place Hotels but this was so disappointing. I don’t ever want to stay and eat a breakfast like that. Disappointing."

"We booked 2 nights over Memorial Weekend to visit our daughter who attends UC. The hotel is beautiful, the staff was amazing. The big problem was with the parking. They have converted most of the street parking spots to "Pay to Park". I believe the rate was $40 per night. We parked down the block to avoid having to pay. 27 cars were broken into on that block and in their parking lot. Our car was one of them. Valet attendant saw the car full of armed men smashing the car windows, and called the police. This ended up being a very big inconvenience as we were 6 hours from home with a smashed window on a holiday weekend. I know this is not the hotel's fault. The valet attendants were super helpful, providing all of us with garbage bags and plastic for our windows. Bottom line...beautiful hotel, amazing staff, terrible parking situation and I'd say a little shady at night. I don't think we will return to this hotel, unfortunately."
