"Not my 1st stay at this adorable and historical inn. Everything is quaint and authentic. Some minor improvements can be seen needed in different rooms. Especially in the bathrooms. The best free breakfast you’ll get anywhere! Also walking distance to multiple delicious restaurants."

"This is the cutest Victorian Inn. The concierge was super nice and we even got an invite to “social hour” with complimentary glass of wine or beer. If we didn’t move into town I would stay there every time we came to town. Oh and the cat that roams the place is adorable!"

"The breakfast spread was excellent; the server kept the food areas clean and filled the trays when needed. Great service, friendly staff, and great food and drinks at the bar. The room was clean upon arrival, bathroom just needed newer towels and bathtub."

"We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Winston-Salem while visiting for a local tournament. The room was clean, comfortable, and appeared recently renovated. While some of the finishes weren’t perfect, they were still well done overall. The hotel seemed fully booked, so it did get a bit noisy at times, as sound carried through the walls and doors. "Ok, housekeeping lacking "

"This property is horrible. I booked 2 rooms here for a last minute outting with friends. There were stains on the furniture, the toilet rocks enough to lift off the floor, the sink is stopped up, the smoke detector is covered with a grocery bag. And none of this even begins to explain the filth. I used a towel the wipe the surfaces and it was a brown dingy before I could finish. The bathtub had hair, some kind of pink and white residues, and buildup that was green and black. I am overly pissed...

Had one mishap with our pull out sofa being left dirty from prior guests...called to the front desk and was told there was only one person working that night and that I could come get clean linens. Problem was rectified I suppose but considering there were someone's fake nails in the bed...expected a little more. "
