"The location was ideal and centrally located. Our room was 2stories with the bed upstairs in a loft. Downstairs was a sitting area and bathroom. It was a pain to have to go up and down stairs to use the bathroom at night. The staff was professional but not friendly. The wouldn’t give us a second card key for my husband who likes to go on early walks in the morning and if you take the key card out of the wall the electricity cuts out. We asked if the towel warmer could be turned on and was told no. We never saw above the ground floor nor the restaurant. The location was great."

"The stairways was a shock, when when we got to the hotel. There were sooooo many steps We had to carry our luggage, no help and a mini elevator. Unexpected for us…."

"The hotel location was near the train station, great spot in town and convenient for walking around. The room was spacious and comfortable, but the problem was the shower cabin, it was out dated and water was leaking from the floor. "

"IQ Hotel Firenze is my favorite hotel in Italy! The staff goes beyond my expectations in every way. The breakfast buffet is amazing in quantity and quality. The location is perfect, central to both the Duomo and the mercato centrale. "

"Lovely hotel in a great location. The rooftop bar area offers amazing views, especially in the evening for sunset. We also had some of the best drinks of our trip there! We were travelling with back packs across many different cities in Italy so the free laundrette facilities were a super helpful surprise! The room was clean overall the hotel was great, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Breakfast was also really good. There were some lovely little restaurants very close by offering pasta and pizza, both very tasty! Highly recommend this hotel and will likely look for more of their hotels in other countries when travelling!"

"The hotel was overall decent, with a good breakfast and very hardworking staff in the breakfast area who were constantly attentive and helpful. Check-in took quite a long time, and unfortunately one front desk staff member came across as rude, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that, it was a pleasant enough stay."

"Here’s a polished version that keeps your tone but reads a little smoother: I believe we upgraded for the breakfast, and honestly, unless you’re paying for the convenience, I wouldn’t recommend it. In my opinion, it wasn’t worth it when there are much better and very inexpensive options close by. The room also wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. It lacked simple things like tissues and a shower cap, and the patio and bathroom walls were never cleaned during our stay. That said, the front desk staff was very friendly, and the location near the train station could definitely be helpful depending on your needs."
