"The structure has a ton of character and the hotel is very centrally located. However, I would expect a higher level of service from an establishment boasting a Michelin key. For example, when we vacated the rooms and had to store out luggage for a little while longer (as we still wanted to enjoy the city of Florence), they didn't have a safe deposit box for us to leave our passports and valuables at, and we had to carry them with us. This is a basic requirement from any reasonable hotel."

Our favorite restaurant was literally 10-15 steps from the hotel. Small elevator; great room with modern amenities; don’t expect the typical lobby that is staffed around the clock. It was right in the most perfect location to walk to all things in Florence and the styling, quaint vibe and amazing staff was just top notch. "This was the first place we have stayed at in our 3 weeks in Italy that received us with the air condition already on and all rooms were cooled. We had the family deluxe room with 1 double bed (which were 2 twins pushed together- not a big deal for us) and 2 twins pushed together beds, one for each of my teenagers. LOCATION was PHENOMENAL— close to all shops, historic sites and food everywhere. Staff were very warm and inviting. I would absolutely book here again if I find myself in Florence...
