"The hotel itself is great and the staff are wonderful. But I do not recommend this hotel if you want to walk anywhere. There are a lot of homeless and they will follow you and hover around you and it feels very unsafe. If you plan to stay here I’d recommend ubering or driving to your destination."

Not very relaxing or enjoyable. Hard to have a conversation. The location is great for events in the area. Easy to get to. Parking garage was a bonus. "Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Wonderful lobby space for all ages. Breakfast was exceptional and great value for money. Kids eat free. Good quality coffee. Very comfortable bed. Best location for any events near sports stadiums! Our new go to!"

"This is a very cool, boutique hotel with lots of character. The staff were amazing, the breakfast that was included was good. The only downside was the restaurant food, it was cold and not too tasty - dinner only, breakfast downstairs was ok. Overall a great experience at this lovely hotel - would recommend! ***The downtown Seattle area has changed so much, a lot of junkies in the area at all hours - not specific to this hotel. Downtown Seattle is quite filthy.***"

"This is a hotel that is 115 years old, and sometimes it reminds you of that, even though it’s one of the most charming corners in Seattle. My room was clean, and special outlets had been installed for modern electronics, but it was rather an ergonomic disaster. The floors were uneven. It had insufficient light. "The king room was larger than expected and very well-furnished! Felt like an apartment. I didn’t love the pillows (too much air), but the bed was cozy and clean. Ample closet, living room area with couch and TV, plus fridge, nice shower. Staff was hardly around, but they are very responsive by phone and helpful when you do see them.
