"Absolutely gorgeous views. Ponies right outside the windows, rolling fields. Lovely hot tub that heated up fast. Clean, peaceful and beautiful. Owner was kind and helpful. Close to Selfoss and Hveragerdi. Close to riding stables. East drive to the crater, the geyser and Gulfoss. Everything we needed was provided. Traveling with our 5 children and everyone was comfortable and happy! Highly recommend! "

"The Frumskógar Guesthouse was a great "home away from home" in southern Iceland! My husband and I had a small apartment which was very spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for simple food preparation (and we were happy to find that there was salt/pepper, coffee, tea). The Guesthouse includes a lovely hot tub, sauna, and outdoor shower, which we enjoyed in the evenings. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and gave us suggestions of activities in the area. In...

"We were here in October 2017. Hotel was nice, had a shared kitchen that we didn't use. Can walk to a few restaurants nearby. There was a hot tub that was shared as well. We only stayed one night so we didn't try it out. It was a little difficult to find the place, and once we did we weren't sure about the parking situation. But we figured it out. The place was nice and clean. Would stay here again."
