"This is very quiet secluded location located about 1 mile in on a dirt road that really is not near anything. If you're looking for peaceful get away from everyone and everything location this is exactly right for you. The restaurant has a great view overlooking the lake but unfortunately the staff notified me that the lake is owned entirely by the electric generating company and that you're not allowed to use the lake in any way shape or form. "Bien"

"Excelente. Mucha paz. Muy hermoso lugar. Definitivamente volveríamos. "

"Would highly recommend this place. The owners just couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The cabins are bright, comfortable, and clean. The location is convenient to the Mirador de Ujarras and the Ruinas de Ujarras as well as multiple good restaurants. The citrus trees on the grounds attract lots of interesting birds. We saw at least 35 species from our porch. Hanging out with their adorable, super friendly Doberman was a big bonus for us."

"Very pleasant stay. Near center of Cartago, but far enough to be a quiet place to stay. Convenient restaurant next door serving good food."

"Fantastic destination. Great scenery, rooms, trails and staff!"

"The food was great, the location is perfect, and the trail right within the property is a good as, if not better, than the 'paid' ones at the other local resort. They have a super cozy lodge for nighttime which made all the difference. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the area."

"I stayed for just one night with my family (my wife and daughter), and the place met all my expectations for a mountain lodge. It was safe, quiet, and the staff were very helpful and kind."

"It´s a very beautiful place to stay on the way to Turrialba or some other attractions around like Turrialba volcano or the parapente."
