"It was okay, but there seemed to be some renovation work going on at the hotel. Because of that, not all services were available. Also, breakfast wasn’t served at 7:30 – nobody was there yet. It was set up later, which made us almost late for an appointment."

We enjoy the typical German style of a family owned, host on site experience... and the breakfast is good! Excellent location too. Bochum town centre is only a few minutes away on the frequent tram which stops nearby. Would recommend Haus Vocke to anyone!"
"The hotel is a little tired. We stayed in a small apartment which wasn't really clear it wasn't on the hotel property. Also no ac and it was pretty hot the days we were there. There are a few places to eat and drink, rather there could have been. Only one place was open limited hours during our stay. It was reasonably clean and the staff were all friendly, just for 600 a night we expected a little more. "
