We were first offered a room with bedroom upstairs. When I said I could not cope with that for health reasons, we were cheerfully offered a ground floor room instead. Parking was easy, unit was clean and cosy and as pictured, only downside was the main road traffic noise, otherwise a pleasant and convenient stop off midway between Auckland and Wellington.

Beautiful, peaceful setting in comfortable accommodation overlooking the lake. On premises restuarant was also very good although menu was a bit limited.

Absolutely adored my stay here. Just wow. What a lovely place. The decor was so cute. Bed was very comfortable, a king size. The kitchen was well stocked. Bathroom was great. The property itself is lovely and convenient to town. Hosts were kind.
