"The hostel is situated in a residential area. Parking is available on a residential street. The check-in process with Travis was easy. Minor issue when showing me to my private room as someone else had the same first name and accidentally showed me to that room first. But was quickly corrected. The room itself was functional. The bed was firm. The shared bathrooms was clean, but showing its age with various broken tiles. I was only staying one night in Detroit and this is definitely an option...

"This type of stay was just not for me. I got a message to call 30 minutes before we get there. The number you call is a personal cell phone. I had to ask if they were the hotel. At that time is when O found out its cash only do I had to find a bank to withdraw funds. You don't get a key, you're asked to take a photo of a paper with your room code on it. "The hotel and staff were great. The room was nice. Could use updated carpeting. The AC was really loud when it kicked on but at least it worked. And no fault of the hotel the city is very noisy and it’s very loud at night as it seems to have thin walls and windows. Haha. I would definitely stay there again!"

"What a lovely experience. Beautiful hotel and rooms. The staff was wonderful and hospitable. I highly recommend. No refrigerators in the rooms, though. So if you have meds or something they hold it for you. That’s the only inconvenience."

"The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was nowhere near worth the price. It’s very dated and though they try it still has a dirty old motel feel and it’s not clean. They have plans to make it more appealing and I really hope they do and are successful. This was a let down after the website pics and reviews. For a lower reasonable motel price it may an option another time. Thank you"
