"Stayed in room 17 of the Lawns annexe, a few minutes walk from the hotel. Room was large, quiet with superking bed and nice walkin shower. Parking on site. Breakfast was good and all staff friendly and helpful. Fresh milk for tea always a nice touch Would have been handy to offer an umbrella in room as walk to hotel in rain not ideal Would certainly return"

"I stayed along with 3 friends for 4 nights and we all thought the hotel was beautiful from the outside and its setting right next to the river is fantastic. Parts of the hotel are a little tired and the unmodernised bedrooms need a facelift although theyre perfectly comfortable. Breakfast is good but the addition of fruit and yoghurts would give more variety for those who dont want the cooked option.
