"Property was in a part of central Bologna a way (30 min walk) from main attractions except the 2 towers. It was entirely self-service and the room locks worked with difficulty. One has to carry around 4 mets keys - front door, main reception, corridor with guest rooms and one’s own room. The breakfast was minimal, but one doesn’t starve. Area is not entirely safe - I was accosted by aggressive beggars twice. Soap bars were tiny and not replaced. Towels were not exchanged unless one asks.it is...

"The hotel is lovely. Many of the high ceilings are frescoed and the floors are marble. Although our room was not large it was well appointed and luxurious w upholstered wall and fine lenin sheets. Our room was ver quiet as well. The location for the hotel is perfect! "

"Wir sind für eine Nacht im Dopa Hostel geblieben, da uns bei der Auswahl schon die zentrale Lage in der Altstadt gefallen hat. Dort angekommen wird man sofort freundlich empfangen. Das Personal ist überaus hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer und die Räumlichkeiten überhaupt sind liebevoll gestaltet mit unzähligen Details. "Excellent clean rooms right at the heart of the old city! This place is literally right next to the Two Towers. Everything you want to see at the city is within the walking distance, and you can also walk 5 min to get to the bus stop to get tickets to San Luca Express! Really enjoyed staying here, and I will surely book again if I were to return to Bologna. Thank you!"
