"This is a very clean, well maintained, and pleasant boutique hotel. Both the staff at the front desk and the staff that cleans the rooms are courteous, considerate and very friendly. It is located in Politiama near the Garibaldi Theater. It is minutes walking distance to the historic center of Palermo.
I had one small issue with the shower and the staff immediately changed my room for my duration there while they corrected the issue. And they were happy to do so.

"Worst hotel we’ve been at, so bad that we had to immediately leave. They market themselves as 5 stars, and if that’s true then the rating system is broken. This hotel is worn out, dark, and has a very strong smell. The smell was terrible and omnipresent. The room itself was very run down and the bathroom, and the bath specifically, were just old. We would not recommend."
"This is a great place to stay. It is very central and close to walk to many of the historic sites, restaurants, and the marina. The staff were great, always helpful with suggestions and help when needed. Right outside the door there’s a great pizza place, and lots of other really nice places near by. Breakfast was really nice, and they have a minibar in their terrace room to have a glass of wine. Only downside is there are no elevators, so be ready to carry your bags up 4 flights of stairs. We...
