"The staff were so incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean, surprisingly spacious for Manhattan, and comfortable. The location cannot be beat, and the breakfast was AMAZING. It’s also a beautiful hotel with a classy, Gatsby-like vibe. This was a wonderful stay, and I will definitely be returning!"

"Lovely hotel, incredibly convenient location, significantly roomier than your typical New York hotel. I was especially impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the immaculate cleanliness of the hotel throughout. Some of the decor is vintage but in a way that makes it feel cool and custom. "

"Well, the location is great. The property itself seems a little run down with stains on the carpet and TP fixtures pulling out of the wall. We stayed for 2 nights and the room was never cleaned. We also had to hunt down paper products and towels on various occasions. "

During our time there, it was quiet. We had a salad and sandwich for lunch from the bar and they both hit the spot. Good job at The George Manhattan."
