"has become my regular stopping point in both directions. I’ve always had a good experience here, and the staff has been friendly and welcoming. I was disappointed that the restaurant was closed during both of my stays this trip. They have a fantastic manager/server, and honestly, the burgers are THE BOMB! I definitely missed being able to grab dinner without leaving the hotel. My only real concern this stay was the exterior lighting. When I arrived last night, the outside lights were off and the property was VERY dark. As a woman arriving alone at night, it was honestly a little unnerving and didn’t feel particularly safe. I asked about it and was told the lights are on a timer that staff isn’t able to adjust without the owner. I really hope management addresses that—it seems like something the front desk should be able to control, especially when guests are arriving after dark. That said, I’ll continue staying here on my Denver trips. It’s a convenient, comfortable stop for me, and I look forward to hopefully having one of those burgers again next time!"
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Silt-Rifle by IHG

"This hotel met the Holiday Inn Express standard, and I like staying at these hotels for the breakfast. The person who checked me in was very kind and helpful. The hotel in Silt is not in an area where there are easy restaurants to access, but the gas station/truck stop nearby had a decent selection of sandwiches/lunch boxes and salads to eat when I arrived there mid-evening. The bathroom had an unusually high ceiling (first floor room), which was different. At the time I stayed there was a notice on the doors that bears had been sighted recently, but I did not see any in the area the night that I stayed. All in all a comfortable stay."

"Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful, especially the young lady on the evening shift Friday night and Sat. Also, we had a problem with our reservation ( my fault) and the staff was very helpful and kind and took care of everything. The breakfasts both days were the best I have found at hotels. Good quality food and variety, and the staff kept everything replenished. If I ever get back to Rifle, I would definitely stay there! My only concern was the bed pillows which were small and felt like a bag of rags."
