"What an amazing place! The hotel were in contact before arrival to let us know about the event they were putting on which was a nice touch. "Dazzling views and an incredibly comfortable room. Lovely staff, amazing breakfast. Across the river from Porto with a beautiful view of the city. Dinner at the Gastronomic was remarkable and certainly earned their 2 Michelin stars! I wish they had a water bottle refill station in the lobby instead of needing to use single use bottles constantly. The bistro lunch menu has very limited options for vegetarians. "

"Staff service was amazing. Free upgrade, early check in, assistance with bags… just really great from beginning to end. My only complaint is the person who cleaned the room turned off our AC and opened the balcony door on a 95 degree day. This not only took more than 24 hrs to fully cool back down (the ACs don’t work great there) but actually consumes more energy than leaving it on. "

"This hotel is perfect in terms of location. We had 2 nights here exploring Porto. Uber from the station and back and after that everything was easily walkable. We didnt have breakfast as felt it too expensive but found plenty elsewhere closeby. Room was spacious, although the internal window into the bathroom was somewhat unusual....thankfully we found the blind! Would definitely stay again."
