I'm travelling frequently and I'm interested to discover new hotels. The hotel itself may be OK and but they are not at all customer friendly. Unfortunately I could not stay there and I will never do. I had trouble to get to Paris which was not my fault but there was a full day of airline strike (only announced 36 hours before departure - no flight at all on my travel date and trains were also fully booked). As soon as I knew this issue I immediately informed both expedia and the hotel. Expedia told me that the hotel refused to postpone my stay or to provide any reimbursement. I called the hotel directly several times and send them messages. After several attempts I finally got in contact with the manager who was not able to propose any solution. I told him that I had managed to get a flight 36 hours later and still would like to stay at the hotel but they told me that I have to pay another full night. I suggested that if the room was different I was ready to pay a supplement or if all rooms are booked to shift to another day. Not accepted, manager not willing to propose anything. Full new reservation required. I had paid and lost over 90 USD / 80 EUR for no service at all. Never again. Manager is not interested in new customers, arrogant behaviour. Sorry it was my mistake to book this hotel.
