"Very close to the motorway and large shopping area. The breakfast included was good. There was scaffolding on the outside during our visit but interiors seemed to have been recently updated. "Staff on reception, in bar area and in restaurant very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Only negative feedback is why customers should pay to park on hotel site, this only became apparent after the booking was made so needs to be clearer."

"Clean, comfortable hotel, excellent for getting into central London as apsley train station is a 2 min walk. Also close bus links if needed and good car links (M25, M1 or A41). Parking onsite can get busy but we managed to get a spot when needed. Breakfast was good and included in room rate which was appreciated. Friendly staff, room was clean and had everything you need (hairdryer, ironing board, kettle, TV, USB slots etc). Personally, we found the bed a bit small (queen size double) and firmer than home but we managed. Hotel was quiet overnight (good sound proofing). We've stayed at most of the hotels in Hemel and this one is the best overall, we will be back in future. Also worth a mention, the hotel is dog friendly which we will test next time. Bar available with good choice. Also seemed to be extensive menu on offer, didnt get a chance to try."
