"I stayed overnight at the Publick House for my next days visit to Old Sturbridge Village. What a wonderful stay and the restaurant at the inn is fantastic. Make sure to make a reservation for though —It’s worth the effort. I ordered the Jumbo Crab Cake adorned with a lovely house made cole slaw and paired it with a local draft beer. Good eating New England style! The property is very well maintained and beautifully landscaped. Great check in experience as well. I’m looking forward to my next...

"The room was acceptably clean, details are always an issue everywhere. Very annoying was an odor that smelled like covered up dog pee. It might have just been the cleaning chemicals that I’m not used to."

"Rte 6 can be an issue when making a left into the parking lot of the hotel depending on time of day. Be careful. Room was clean, lighting could be better. No table lamps just ceiling lights with led. A little bright. Water pressure and temp was great. Bed was comfortable. Could have used another blanket and maybe 2 more towels for 2 adults for 2 nights. All in all I would recommend due to cleanliness and the gentleman who helped us at check in was great. "

"Highly recommend the Loft as it was a beautiful space. The Heddle room has a glass window in the door to the bathroom. Technically you could shower in privacy but I would rather a solid door. Staff handled an issue with our original room well. They were immediately available when I called and provided both a short term (moving rooms for the night) and long term solution (fixing the issue) plan within ten minutes. Heddle room is a good option if you need a place to sleep and will be otherwise...

"I was greeted warmly when checking in, I had a comfortable bed, hot water. I didn't use the microwave or fridge. The breakfast was great. Scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes in the buffets. A pancake maker. And the other items you'd expect from a continental breakfast. The only bad mark has nothing to do with the hotel. I was at the end closest to Post Rd. Friday night had a lot of cars flooring their load engines, I assume making the on ramp. Had to turn on the fan to partially mask...

"We stayed for several nites and can say the beds were great...breakfast was a full breakfast with various choices each morning. It was easy to find right off 495...! Coffee was hot and ready to go any time!"

"I walked on the back green lawn area, like I like to do in the morning or evening before bed. I noticed construction debris was dumped along the property fence line. This is our earth, why not place such debris where it can be processed? I did notice some tree limbs at the back, that is okay by me, return the green waste to the land, but the construction debris dumped along the property lines is not cool. There are toxins in such materials. Please process such things rather than dumping them at...

"Room was very clean and spacious . Bathroom was very clean too. Only complaint was hot food at breakfast was not kept up with for the amount of guests on a Saturday morning and the one attendant was trying to keep up. Maybe have 2 attendants might help."
