"Best location in Cartago for a hotel. Beds are not Marriott but they are clean and rooms are big enough for 3-4 people. The restaurant is good and not very expensive. The breakfast is nice and when they have the outdoor breakfast bar is probably my favorite experience of this hotel. If you’re going to be in Cartago, this is the best place to say. Very reasonably priced. Most of the staff is bilingual in Spanish and English."

"Everything was wonderful except that the location was 30 minutes away from the Basilica Virgen de Los Angeles which our trip was for. I read that it was closer on the Expedia app. Staff was wondeeful."

"Would highly recommend this place. The owners just couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The cabins are bright, comfortable, and clean. The location is convenient to the Mirador de Ujarras and the Ruinas de Ujarras as well as multiple good restaurants. The citrus trees on the grounds attract lots of interesting birds. We saw at least 35 species from our porch. Hanging out with their adorable, super friendly Doberman was a big bonus for us."

"My family and I loved our stay here. I mostly chose it because of the breakfast buffet and it was great. Beds are comfortable and the AC kept the room nice and cool during a humid season. Room safe needed fresh batteries. Gym was ok. Couldn't get the stationary bike to work properly because of dead batteries. Couldn't get the treadmill to work either. "Stay was just as advertised- from the outside you can't tell this place is an Oasis. Breakfast was great. We got to meet the owner- very nice and friendly. He gave us a tip on where to eat in Tamorindo and we ended up going there and loving it. Pool and hot tub were great. Had safe on site parking."
