"The place is an old olive oil mill, that was transformed into a B&B, preserving the ancient characteristics. The result is fantastic. I strongly recomend this property!"
"An exceptional place—we decided to stay an additional day at Moinho do Maneio, canceling a night in the Douro Valley, because we loved the place and its surroundings so much. Anabela and her husband have created such a special retreat, truly a welcome respite after traveling through the busy cities of Madrid and Seville. The fireplace, the sauna, extra cozy cabin / bed, incredible breakfast with lots of homemade goodies, wine / beer to purchase, etc. all made the stay unique. This seemingly...
"This is a BEAUTIFUL place to stay. More house than hotel! It appears to be totally renovated and the decor is gorgeous. The view of the pool and the mountains in the distance were wonderful. Our room was spacious and the shower was fabulous. It is located in a very small town with just two restaurants, neither of which were open, so we went to a quaint market within walking distance for cheese, wine, etc. Everything was great. Monsanto was a quick drive away."
"Very helpful staff, Excellent area to explore. Nice touch having a fridge in the room, the best breakfast, of all the hotels, whilst staying in Portugal. Comfy bed, good size room.
Would definitely stay again in the future."
"Armandino and Conceição were terrific hosts. Made us feel right at home. Served a nice little breakfast and coffee. Located a short drive to the center of town. Very easy access to all the places we wanted to visit. Would recommend staying here. "
"The hotel opened less than a year ago and offers spotless accommodations. It's decorated in a modern fashion and very tastefully. We arrived after a rather long car trip and had no energy to drive to town to find a restaurant for dinner. They prepared vegetable soup, bread, cheeses, jams, and fruits for us, all of the best quality you can see, and all prepared at the property with ingredients from the property.
All in all and excellent experience to be repeated."
