"Lovely last minute night away. Haven’t stayed here for a while and I think the rooms have been refurbished. Very nice. Only two issues. Very musty smell in the room which I think comes from no window ventilation. Loads of condensation running down the window after a shower and the air conditioning didn’t work when we got there. Assuming it’s on a timer but it was cold. But good stay."

"Turned up at 14:35 after travelling a few hours to be told by receptionist that we couldn’t book in till15:00. She didn’t take our names to check if room was ready just to come back at 15:00 hrs. Not what we wanted to hear! Other than that the room was fine, breakfast good and breakfast staff very helpful."

"Very big room, perfectly comfortable and bathroom was huge. Shower water pressure was excellent. Some peeling paint in the bedroom and noise insulation not as good as it could be - we could clearly hear the entertainment in one of the conference rooms underneath our room. "Only a short stay but the staff were excellent and the room comfortable enough for a 6 hour sleep - didn't really have much time to look around as I have a late arrival and an early train out the next morning but seemed clean, comfortable and right in the centre of town with about a 10 minute walk to the station."

"Safe and quiet area with pleasant views. Ceri the lady who checked is in was very pleasant and made us feel very welcome. The ladies in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and accommodating as was the chef. The breakfast was excellent - good quality and plenty of it. We are more than happy to return again. "
