"The poor manager had staff not show up, so was overloaded. But she was still kind and helpful to us. The hotel is very basic. Nothing fancy and a bit old. But seemed clean and mostly in good repair."

"Got to the motel around 8:30 to 9 PM. Door was locked with a piece of paper taped to the door, instructing me to call a number for help. I did, multiple times. No answer whatsoever. I had to find alternate arrangements."

"We are so happy that we booked our stay in the Black Hills at Mountain View Lodge and Cabins. The owners are very hospitable and really make you feel at home personally and with the amenities they offer. The hotel is centrally located for many of the attractions. The grill was great to use and have a homemade meal after being on the road for a week. If we make it back to this area we will definitely stay here again."
