"Very well located hotel, walkable to pretty much all parts of Edinburgh and all the buses for public transport were right out front. FYI- no Ubers are allowed on Princes St. The hotel itself is falling apart. The elevator access was a complete pain with the card readers and the room was TINY. We had two pieces of checked baggage and two carry-ons meaning there was no space in the room for us to even stand. The shower drainage and ventilation of the bathroom was awful so the room was always stuffy feeling. I had breakfast at their on-site restaurant and it was pretty underwhelming compared to the other hotels we stayed at during this trip. Would stay here again in a pinch, but will likely try another property if I visit Edinburgh again. The staff is all lovely though! Shout out to Craig who was very friendly and helpful."

"One of the most beautiful hotels we have experienced with a highly professional staff. We were greeted warmly, our room was upgraded and we were given drink tokens to help celebrate our anniversary. Excellent location. Sadly, we only had one night. Highly recommend."

"Nice hotel. Very well situated in the city. We could grab the bus or go across street to restaurant or pubs. Great breakfast place just a block away. Relaxing bar within the hotel Clean and comfy"

"Le breakfast n’est pas de qualité et n’est pas à la hauteur du prix. Par ailleurs, la nuit du 30 au 31 mai 2026, nous avions commandé un breakfast donc payé. Cependant notre avion était à 7h45 donc nous avons demandé à la réception un remboursement car le service du breakfast ouvre à 06h30 et il nous etait impossible de le prendre. Cela nous a été refusé. Le matin du 31 la réception nous a remis un breakfast à emporter. J’ai découvert une bouteille d’eau de 50 cl sans étiquette et déjà ouverte inscrit dessus prob. Ce n’est pas acceptable pour une prestation d’un grand établissement comme le votre et surtout les mesures d’hygiène ne sont pas respectées !!!! J’ai une photo de la bouteille si vous le souhaitez. En conséquence, Je demande le remboursement du breakfast ou bien un geste commercial de votre part. Cordialement Bertrand Olier"
